An intense village wine with aromas and flavors of oyster shells, lavender flowers and sandalwood. Medium-bodied with a creamy texture and a flavorful finish. Heather flowers come through. Real Chassagne-Montrachet. Drink now.
Aromas of orange oil, pear and toasty oak introduce the 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Village, a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy wine with a satiny attack and lively acids. This is a strong effort at the communal level.
Pale lemon colour. The Chassagne offers slightly more chiselled a white fruit nose than the Puligny. More restrained, stricter even, but I think the finer of the two, with a lovely purity. Precision throughout. Lovely.
About the producer
