Aromas of white peach, freshly baked bread and pastry introduce the 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Les Levrons, a medium to full-bodied, ample and suave wine that's charming and elegant. It's a new cuvée for Dugat-Py, produced from purchased old-vine fruit.

The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Les Levrons takes time to open in the glass, revealing touches of hazelnut and a smoky style that turns more flinty. It is nicely focused with hints of dandelion. The palate is well balanced with a straightforward opening. Maybe it lacks a bit of mineralité as you might anticipate for a Village cru, but a pleasant spiciness emerges toward the finish.
