Made ‘black’ (extremely oxidatively). Clean and fresh and just a little leesy. Perhaps less distinctive than this producer’s Sauvignon. (JR)

White peaches, baked apples, lemon pie, salted butter and custard on the nose. Hazelnuts, too. It’s full-bodied with a creamy palate. Pretty praline notes to close. Drink now.

Pure nose with cedary spiced oak and wild flowers. The oak is still integrating but there is precision here and a long pure finish. A subtle saline note marries beautifully with the ripe intense fruit. Good concentration. (AC)
