Very scented. Very sweet – maybe just a bit to amiable..? I’m looking for a bit more refreshment from this. (JR)
Bright, dark red. Candied raspberry, blood orange and flowers along with a hint of toasty oak on the high-pitched nose. Classic penetrating, vibrant Vosne-Romanée, with crushed raspberry and stone flavors of noteworthy thrust. Densely packed, juicy and very long, with the new oak component nicely supported by the wine’s strong material.
About the producer

Nicolas Potel is one of Burgundy’s most talented and connected winemakers. He created Maison Roche de Bellene, the négoce arm of Domaine de Bellene, in 2008, using his extensive network in the region to source top-quality fruit for an "haute couture" négociant operation.
