Tasting notes
The 1985 Barolo demonstrates why Sandrone is so renowned. Still youthful at 15 years of age, it boasts a dark plum/purple as well as sweet aromas of black fruits, minerals, asphalt, and underbrush. Full-bodied, with sweet tannin, no hard edges, gorgeous purity, and multiple dimensions, this is a spectacular, still vigorous and youthful Barolo to consume over the next decade.
