Tasting notes
Sourced in the more clayey part of the lieu-dit and macerated for 24 hours, the NV Brut Rosé Largillier is a pure 2014 vintage that opens with a rather reductive redcurrant, floral and earthy bouquet. Round and with licorice flavors, this is a pretty fruity and charming Largillier, but it lacks the purity and mineral tension of the finest white Largilliers in favor of the charming fruity character. Tasted April 2018.

From the 2022 vintage, grown on clay-rich soils, the NV Brut Rosé Largillier—macerated for 1.5 days—offers aromas of cherry, wild raspberry, white currant and spice. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, muscular and textural, with a ripe core of fruit, vibrant acidity and a perfumed, cherry-tinged finish. This is a gastronomic rosé Champagne, ideal alongside red meats or tuna.
