Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Bright, full red. Reticent nose combines dark berries, flowers and a whiff of meat. Suave, silky and creamy in the mouth; generous but also sharply focused. This has superb extract and material. Complicating notes of animal fur and smoked meat. Very long, slowly mounting finish features lush, melting tannins. Compelling wine.
