Score 92+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Extremely closed nose hints at iodine and clove. Large-scaled, sweet and mouthfilling, with hints of superripe dried fruits and sweet oak. But very young and reserved today. Resounding whiplash of a finish is uncompromisingly dry. This stubbornly backward wine should ultimately merit a higher score.
