Score 17.5/20 · Drink 2024-2036, Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com, Nov 2017
2016 was small so all Cortons blended, 50% new oak. Barrel sample. Very dark with black core. Intense and pure dark dark fruit with an overlay of vanilla sweetness more than spice. Deep and full in the mouth, spreading in generous fruit. The tannins remarkably smooth and supple already. With juicy long finish. (JH)
