Classy and very pure but reserved today, conveying a strong impression of energy to its subtle flavors of lavender, cinnamon, stone and minerals. Youthfully imploded but the wine's aristocratic weightlessness is already apparent. Offers outstanding inner-mouth tension but comes across as very reserved following the Bâtard. A wine of great nobility and energy, not to mention impeccable purity, this utterly palate-staining grand cru will need time in bottle to expand.
