The 2016 Fleur de Clinet is the second label of Château Clinet and comes from deselected barrels. It has an upfront bouquet of blueberry, raspberry coulis and light truffle notes. The palate is medium-bodied and slightly sappy in style, with smooth tannins, a fine bead of acidity and fine grip. There is a light marine influence toward the finish, and hints of seaweed linger on the aftertaste. Drink over the next five or six years.
About the producer

Clinet
With Ronan Laborde at the helm, this property has become one of Pomerol’s most sought-after. He has increased the proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, which historically represented half the vineyard area here.
