The 2021 Meursault Les Narvaux is a strong effort in a vintage that's often marked by the impact of spring frosts. Exhibiting notes of white flowers, praline, peach and nectarine, it's medium- to full-bodied, with an elegantly textural attack and a racy spine of acidity that carries through the penetrating finish.

The 2021 Meursault Les Narvaux has a much more backward/reticent nose than its peers despite coaxing. The palate is well balanced with orange rind and touches of marmalade, and though 15% new wood is used, it feels like more on the finish. It will need time for that to be subsumed, so afford it a couple of years in bottle.
