The 2018 Riesling Wehlener Klosterberg Spätlese (Green Capsule) is very clear and elegant on the pure and vegetal as well as stony and still flinty/sulfuric nose that displays bright and healthy fruit aromas. Intensely juicy and with lush apricot aromas, this is a pure, piquant and elegant Spätlese with definition and precision and a tightly structured, still young finish that will improve with bottle age. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.
