Tasting notes
The 2020 de Cérons is simply stunning. Possessing a gourmand, bright bouquet with aromas of cassis, flowers, cherries and raspberries, it’s medium to full-bodied and juicy with a terrific core of fruit and a nicely fine-grained finish—a real bargain.

Powerful, with silky tannins, plenty of red cherry, kirsch fruits, good depth, flash of heat on the finish well balanced by fresh acidities. Ambassadeur de Graves.
NB vintage! Full bottle 1,272 g. 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Sémillon, 10% Sauvignon Gris grown on limestone by the Perromats. Rather broad, rich and almost oily on the nose. I wouldn't mind a little more nerve but it certainly delivers pleasure for the short term – and lots of flavour for a 12% wine even if not that much length of flavour. (JR)
Cask sample. Very juicy and primary berry-fruit nose with a nice rose-petal/violet note and the slightest green herbaceous streak. Lovely pastille-fruit core, firm and succulent tannins and well-integrated oak. This has so much fruit and generosity and still just manages to maintain direction with its moderate acidity. Slightly warming on the finish but very attractive. (AC)
