The Grenache-dominated (there's 20% Syrah) 2022 All Blocks Red Wine offers a deeper plum hue to go with spicy, intense aromatics of red and black berries, black tea, candied violets, and pepper. It's beautifully textured, medium to full-bodied, has a broad, layered mouthfeel, and velvety tannins. It reminds me of a great Châteauneuf du Pape and will evolve for a decade.
The 2022 Red Wine All Blocks is bold, punchy and super-expressive. All the energy of Colson Canyon comes through in this searingly intense GSM blend. Time in the glass brings out gorgeous aromatic presence to play off a core of dark red-toned fruit. I would give this a year or so in bottle.
The 2022 All Blocks features redcurrant and wild raspberry aromas with wafts of tea leaves, Bergamot and wildflowers. The full-bodied palate is plush and approachable with generous, juicy fruit and a long, fragrant finish. This is easy to drink and so perfumed!
