Tasting notes
Limpid straw-yellow. High-pitched citrus zest and floral aromas and a chalky mineral topnote. Vibrant and sharply delineated on the palate, offering juicy, mineral-laced grapefruit, green apple and honeysuckle flavors that deepen and spread out steadily with air. Shows powerful mineral character on the incisive, impressively long finish, which leaves intense citrus fruit and floral notes behind.

The 2019 Polish Hill Riesling boasts hints of baby powder and lime alongside green apple and mint on the nose. It's medium-bodied, with a pristine, almost watery feel on the palate, but it simultaneously delivers fascinating intensity of flavor and tremendous length, with a gentle, softly dusty texture on the finish. It should easily cellar for more than a decade.
Subtle and layered. Really exciting already because of the density. Tense but the fruit extract means you could actually drink it now. (JR)
