Score 90/100 · Drink 2022-2033, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Mar 2022
On the nose, the 2019 Pinot Noir Tradition is pure, intense and elegant in its stewed cherry, red cassis and floral aromas. On the palate, this is a round and intense, very charming Pinot with a dense texture and fine but persistent structuring and clearing tannins that lead to a long, fruit-intense and crispy finish. It's quite generous but impressive in style and elegance and definitely more complex than the 2020. Like the 2019 Passion Pinot, the Tradition also represents the coolish terroir of Malans and Graubünden along with the rather coolish/classical vintage. 13.5% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted in January 2022.
