Bright crimson. Not exactly pure on the nose. Very chewy and tough on the finish. Awfully drying tannins. (JR)

Good deep ruby-red. Blackberry, minerals and mocha on the nose, with a floral topnote. Quite round in the mouth, with a high-pH feel to the game, smoke, iron and mocha flavors. Finishes with substantial toothdusting tannins. This still needs to integrate its oak component.
