Tasting notes
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Gravelly Meadow is broad, ample and super-expressive. Dark cherry, plum, mocha, chocolate, spice and a kiss of French oak all build in a Cabernet that meld together power and finesse. There's plenty of structure, but it is buried by the richness of the fruit. Power and density are the signatures. I would give this at least a few years in bottle.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Gravelly Meadow features scents of mocha and tree-bark-like oak, nicely highlighting bold cassis and blackberry fruit notes. Full-bodied, rich and velvety, it finishes long, with softly dusty tannins that linger elegantly.
About the producer

Diamond Creek, Napa’s first single-vineyard Cabernet estate, has defined terroir-driven winemaking since 1968. Founded by Al and Boots Brounstein, the winery pioneered site-specific Cabernet, producing age-worthy wines from Gravelly Meadow, Red Rock Terrace and Volcanic Hill.
