Tasting notes
The 2020 season was cool in Yarra, and they worked hard to produce great wines in the season that was handed to them. So here, the fine-boned, ethereal and delicate 2020 Quintet is a reflection of the best aspects of that season. Sitting so pretty on the mid-palate right now, the wine is airy and spacious but compact and streamlined as well. It feels good in the mouth, and the ductile splay of tannin seems to shape the fruit is an athletic way. It has chew and bounce, within its framework. This is a superstar. It is still red fruited and inchoate, balanced though, eminently so.

Very subtle and refined on the nose with currants and orange peel as well as hints of currant bush. Medium- to full-bodied with creamy tannins that fell the mouth. Silky texture. Succulent and beautiful to drink. Better in two or three years.
