Tasting notes
Now in its tenth vintage, Domaine Eden represents as solid a value as ever. The 2018 Pinot Noir is initially slow to open but continuously evolves with aeration. The nose is deep and smoky, with beautiful damp earth and dark fruit aromas. The palate takes a red-fruited, lacy and elegant turn with a composed finish. Pound for pound, this estate consistently ranks as one of the top values in California Pinot Noir.

The 2018 Pinot Noir is positively stellar. Bright, aromatic and deep, the 2018 is marvelously complete. Sweet red cherry, cinnamon, blood orange and mint all grace this flavorful, mid-weight Pinot. The 2018 is so nicely done.
The 2018 Pinot Noir is also impressive, with lots of Burgundian style in its aromatics of ripe cherries, wood smoke, forest floor, spice, and earth. These carry to a medium-bodied Pinot Noir with a focused, firm, yet elegant texture, good acidity, and outstanding length. It shows the house style nicely and will benefit from another year in bottle and keep through 2028. I'd be happy to drink a bottle at dinner.
