Dark ruby. Fragrant black and blue fruit, olive, exotic spice and floral aromas are complemented by black pepper and mineral notes that emerge with aeration. Sappy and broad on the palate, offering ripe boysenberry, cassis and fruitcake flavors and hints of licorice and vanilla. A smoky nuance appears on the long, blue fruit-dominated finish, where sneaky tannins add shape and closing grip. 100% whole clusters and 20% new oak.
