Blend of two bought-in wines. His grands crus generally have 25–40% new oak. In barrel. Extremely ripe cherry fruit. Juicy and rounded. A little stemmy perhaps and seems it might be ready earlier than you might expect for a grand cru. Light tannins and long juicy finish. (JH)
