The 2021 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers is even more elegant and suave than its 2020 counterpart. Offering up aromas of cassis and dark berries mingled with notions of spices, potpourri and raw cocoa, it's medium to full-bodied, pure and perfumed, with a lively core of fruit framed by supple tannins.

The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Pruliers 1er Cru has a light nose of brambly red fruit, sous-bois and loamy scents, like other cuvées, just a bit light and missing some presence. The palate is better with more concentration, than intimated by the nose, gentle grip with lightly spiced dark cherry fruit with a pleasant residual white pepper note on the finish. Fine.
