Tasting notes
65% Chenin, 30% Verdelho, 5% Viognier. The first magnum lacked the tension and character usually associated with this wine but a second magnum was much better, with real cut, tense green-fruit flavours and excitement. Edginess, length and some true Swartland Chenin character in here. Long, exciting and really quite thrilling. It should develop beautifully. (JR)
