Tasting notes
Rocketing from the glass with citrus essences and underripe peach and pineapple notes, the 2022 White Blend is fresh and complex with dusty floral essences. Medium-bodied and balanced with a delicate mineral tension, the palate displays power and finesse before ending with a spicy, mineral-laced finish and lingering kiss of phenolic bitterness. Enjoy with food.

Fresh white flowers, lemon rind, wet stones and apricots on the nose, with a touch of anise. It’s fragrant and caressing with a medium to full body and a long, supple and gently oily finish. Chenin blanc, verdelho and viognier. Drink or hold.
Mostly Chenin Blanc with 24% Verdelho and 4% Viognier. Spontaneous fermentations, all parcels fermented separately. Aged in old oak and one concrete egg. Silk slips and rock slides, greengage and white pepper. The fruit flirts the line between cool, crunchy northern-clime fruit and rich, fleshy tropical fruit. The spaces between are filled with salt and samphire, feeling like sea glass and light, giving the sense of iridescent nacre in the soft kaleidoscopic shift from texture to flavour to acidity to texture. Like the inner whorl of a perlemoen shell. Lime and black pepper on the finish to snap you back into the room. Packed with explosive energy and yet tightly controlled. It's a thrilling wine. You could drink this now, insanely young, but ages beautifully (I can say this from experience). VGV (TC)
