"No bullshit, just sulfites" and made by "H. O. Spanier" from BattenfeldSpanier, the 2021 Riesling Trocken Qvinterra is the estate wine from Kühling-Gillot in Bodenheim—the family domaine of Carolin Spanier-Gillot, wife of Hans Oliver Spanier. The 2021 offers an intense, round and aromatic bouquet with red slate aromas. Round, refined and elegant on the palate, this is a pure, saline, lush and aromatic Riesling from the red slope that already tastes very well but can also be kept for about a decade or two. 12% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted in October 2022.
