Tasting notes
Inky, ruby color. Lively black and blue fruit and floral scents are complemented by suggestions of vanilla and cured tobacco. Sappy and focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry and blueberry flavors that are lifted and sharpened by a peppery nuance. Finishes long, smooth and precise, with repeating florality and smooth tannins that come on late.

Matured in 25% new French oak and grown near the winery in the heart of the Barossa Valley, Kaesler's 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon offers a bouquet of cedar, vanilla, redcurrants and cherries. Fresh and lively, it doesn't fit the stereotype of Barossa, being medium-bodied, silky and fine, with the oak nearly disappearing by the wine's finish. It should drink well for 5-6 years.
