Score 88/100 · Drink 1994-2002, Robert Parker, Oct 1992
Perrin's 1990 red Chateauneuf is excellent. It possesses a deep, opaque black/ruby/purple color, a rich, cassis and black-cherry-dominated nose, dense, chewy, concentrated flavors, and an authoritative, long, chewy finish. Its tannin levels suggest it should reach full maturity in 2-3 years and last for more than a decade. This wine merits attention. Importer: T.
