Tasting notes
The 2007 Chardonnay Thieriot Vineyard is the most complete of the three 2007 Chardonnays in this grouping. Overall, the 2007 is a bit light in feel, although the lemon confit, mint and floral notes show good freshness given the wine's age and the style of the year.

(14.1% alcohol, from vines cropped at 2.2 tons per acre) Bright green-tinged yellow. Pure, complex nose dominated by white peach and musky minerality. Suave on entry, then dense and sappy in the middle, combining serious power and terrific lift. With its sexy suggestions of fennel, lemon verbena, linden flower and fresh herbs, this is quite Burgundian. The very long finish boasts a rare blend of cut and sweetness.
