Tasting notes
The 2020 Richebourg Grand Cru is fabulous, and I say that as someone who is not the biggest fan of this vineyard. The Leroy 2020, well, it soars out of the glass with captivating aromatics, deep fruit and magnificent balance. There is a lot of concentration here, as with all the 2020s, and yet the Richebourg comes across as incredibly refined, not an adjective that often comes to mind with wines of this grand cru. A rush of dark red cherry jam, pomegranate, blood orange, lavender and exotic spice builds into the dramatic finish. What a wine. - Antonio Galloni

About the producer

For many, Domaine Leroy represents the pinnacle of fine Burgundy. Owned and run by the legendary Lalou Bize-Leroy, the domaine in Vosne-Romanée is one strand of the Leroy empire, along with Maison Leroy and Domaine d’Auvenay.
