Score 86/100 · Drink 1993-2000, Robert Parker, Feb 1993
The 1989 exhibits excellent deep ruby color and a big nose of sweet fruit and oak, followed by a wonderfully lush, concentrated, moderately tannic wine that is admirably endowed, as well as well-balanced. Drink it over the next 6-7 years. Excellent!
