The 2019 Fourcas Hosten Blanc has an agreeable, well-defined nose that unfolds to reveal nectarine, white peach and Conference pear aromas, plus hints of grass clippings in the background. The palate is very well balanced with quite irresistible notes of melon, kiwi fruit and sour lemon; suggestions of candied orange peel develop with aeration. This is a white Listrac that conveys a bit of swagger, and it is well worth seeking out.
