Tasting notes
Dried apple and lemon aromas with hints of stones. Medium body, lovely fruit and a clean finish. Some attractive layers and texture to this. A blend of 75 per cent sauvignon blanc, 18 per cent sauvignon gris and seven per cent semillon.

The 2016 Fourcas-Hosten Blanc is a blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 18% Sauvignon Gris and 7% Semillon. It has quite an attractive dried pineapple and linden-scented bouquet, almond developing with aeration. The palate is well balanced with touch of orange cordial and mango, though I find that this needs more depth on the finish.
