Score 86/100 · Drink 2018-2024, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2017
Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois annual tasting, the 2015 Loudenne has quite an intense bouquet with black plum, boysenberry jam and crushed flowers. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, maybe a little rustic in style but it has charm, personality and is more approachable than others. Tasted September 2017.

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot. Closed nose, dark cherry fruit, plenty of acid and very rounded tannin. Veers on the austere side with its compact, dark fruit, but has eminently approachable structure. (RH)
