Score 87/100 · Drink 2017-2024, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Aug 2017

The 2015 Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu spent 15 months in stainless steel and oak barrels. It has a muffled, resinous bouquet that needs to display more mineralité and terroir expression. The palate is balanced but lacks tension, and it feels too simplistic on the finish. It is not bad, just a bit…ordinary. I much prefer the Côte de Léchet this vintage. Incidentally, both were tasted blind.
