Lush and sexy, the ruby-colored 2000 Chambolle-Musigny reveals aromas reminiscent of coffee-laced dark berries. Easygoing, this light to medium-bodied wine offers blood orange and red cherry fruits in its expressive personality. It is meant for early drinking. Projected maturity: now-2006. Good medium ruby color. Bright aromas of raspberry and blackberry. Fresh, juicy and perfumed, with clear Chambolle character. Taking up the oak quickly, but the firm, persistent finish avoids dryness. Nicely balanced and pure.
