Score 90/100 · Drink 2013-2023, Robert Parker, Feb 2013
The 2010 Haut-Brisson displays a sweeter, more forward and evolved personality compared to the Reserve, with less oak but lots of fleshy black currant and kirsch-like fruit intermixed with some lavender, licorice, and a touch of spice box. The wine is medium to full-bodied, round and ideal for drinking over the next decade or more. Owned by a prominent Chinese family, this has been a consistent winner in every vintage I have tasted to date. They usually make two cuvees, both of which merit consumer interest.
