Good medium red. Very ripe red fruits and some high-toned oak on the nose. Deeply red-fruity, broad and dry; already closing down in the bottle. Finishes with substantial tannins. Will this blossom with aging?

Good deep red. At once more reserved and more precise on the nose than the normale, with hints of dark fruits and minerals. Tighter, fresher and more wound-up, with ripe, harmonious acidity. Comes across as riper than the regular village wine, and longer on the aftertaste. The vines that go into this cuvee are located adjacent to premier cru parcels in Volnay.
