The 2015 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Bourgeots is very pretty, offering up an expressive bouquet of strawberry, sweet spices and orange rind. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, sappy and fine-grained, some light tannins asserting themselves on the juicy, saline finish.

Mid crimson. Red fruits and a touch smoky/rocky. Dry, fine tannins that are more chewy on the finish, just about filled out by the fruit. Long but needs a bit of time. (JH)
