Deep, glistening ruby. Vibrant, smoke-accented blackberry, kirsch, incense, vanilla and smoky mineral aromas; exotic floral and spice notes add complexity. Deeply concentrated but energetic as well, offering palate-staining red and dark berry preserve, fruitcake, chewing tobacco, vanilla and mocha flavors that expand with aeration. Finishes on a gently tannic note, with reverberating dark fruit, floral and mocha notes and superb persistence, leaving a hint of Moroccan spices behind. All new French oak.
