The 2021 Cambon La Pelouse is simply anonymous on the nose, showing just faint sketches of red fruit. The palate is little better—hollow in the middle, with hard tannins and an austere finish.

The 2021 Cambon La Pelouse is anemic on the nose and the palate is hard and tannic. Tasted twice.

The 2021 Cambon La Pelouse offers good depth, but also presents quite a bit of reduction that hopefully will dissipate with élevage. We will see. Tasted two times.

Grilled toasted oak notes, this has been made in a reductive style and really takes a lot of work to open up (needed two samples and a good half an hour, although this is not always unusual with En Primeur saples). Bright fruits, gently-worked tannins, emphasis on spice and smoke. Treasury Wine Estates. 42hl/h yield.
