Tasting notes
Tasted on multiple occasions, the 2021 Château De Pressac is clearly outstanding and has a medium-bodied, balanced, nicely textured style as well as spicy red and black fruits, some subtle hints of iron, truffle, and leather-like aromas and flavors. This textured, concentrated 2021 already offers pleasure, but given its overall balance and structure, it should evolve gracefully over the coming decade.

The 2021 Château de Pressac is well-defined and focused on the nose, classically styled with blackberry, raspberry, ash and Earl Grey scents that billow with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with svelte tannins, well judged acidity and commendable sapidity, with good nervosité and density on the finish. This is a well-crafted Saint-Émilion.
The 2021 de Pressac is classy, elegant and polished. As always, the blend of varieties here yields an incredibly distinctive Pressac. Dark red fruit, cedar, tobacco, lavender and spice open with some coaxing. This layered, wonderfully expressive Saint-Émilion is commendable.
