Tasting notes
A blend of Chardonnay and Nebbiolo, the 2021 Langhe Bianco Solea offers a good deal intensity on the nose, with a light resinous feel and possibly a light oak influence in its notes of ripe pear, fresh peach, orange citrus, and resin. Salty and intense on the palate, it has a supple texture, but retains lovely focus and tension while having a good bit of depth. Drink 2024-2032.

The 2021 Solea is an unusual blend of Nebbiolo and Chardonnay. Ripe pear, apple, spice, mint, marzipan, flowers and chamomile all caress the palate as this exquisite white shows off its engaging personality. The silky finish is wonderfully inviting.
About the producer

Roagna is one of Italy’s finest estates, producing top, single-vineyard Nebbiolos in Barbaresco and Barolo. The estate’s Crichët Pajé Barbaresco is one of the rarest fine wine cuvées in Piedmont with fewer than 2,000 bottles produced each year.
