Tasting notes
Aromas of cherries, cassis, loamy soil and spices introduce the 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village, a medium to full-bodied, lively and youthfully structured wine with a vibrant core of fruit and fine, chalky tannins. This is another quite serious communal wine from Cheurlin that will benefit from a bit of bottle age.

A slightly more deeply pitched nose reflects notes of poached plum, game, newly turned earth and a whiff of spice. There is fine density to the vibrant and intense medium-bodied flavors that possess fine depth on the sneaky long finish. This too is a quality effort for a villages level Nuits.
