Good medium red. Complex, scented nose offers red berries, dark cherry, sage and white pepper. Juicy, spicy and quite brisk, with impressive inner-palate energy in the style of the vintage's better examples. Very firmly tannic but not at all dry. This has plenty of underlying density and finishes with excellent subtle length. Needs at least a few years of bottle aging.
Good full red. Aromas of currant, dried flowers, leather and pepper. Juicy, pure and nicely delineated, with steadily building intensity toward the back. Finishes with very good peppery persistence.
