(80% new oak; half of a normal crop): Very closed on the nose, hinting at smoky minerality and musky lees. Then pure and superconcentrated in the mouth, with Montrachet-like flavors of lemon, crushed stone and iodine. This very strong, minerally wine shows a whiplash of flavor on the aftertaste and terrific rising length and volume. Great potential here.
