60% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Sémillon. Attractive herbal character merging with soft oak and lots of vivid lemon fruit. Lovely sweet fruit, but certainly dry to finish. Well made, enjoyable and quite viscous on the length. (RH)

The 2013 Brown is delicious. Savory herbs, new leather, tobacco and menthol jump from the glass in an exuberant, juicy wine with plenty of near term appeal. Impeccably balanced throughout, the 2013 is shaping up to be one of the hidden jewels of the vintage. This is a terrific showing from Brown and winemaker Stéphane Derenoncourt.
