Score 88/100 · Drink 1993-1997, Robert Parker, Jan 1997
The 1989 white Hermitage is extremely fresh, pure, and lively, with a bouquet that roars from the glass, revealing scents of wet stones, peaches, and flowers. In the mouth, this amply endowed, full-bodied wine has gobs of fruit, lacks a bit of acidity and clarity, but offers a succulent, juicy mouthful of white Hermitage for drinking over the next 2-4 years. Last tasted 11/93.
