2012 Mazis Chambertin

The 2012 Mazis-Chambertin is dense, perfumed and layered in the glass. Freshly cut flowers, sweet red berries, menthol and licorice all meld together in an impeccable, graceful wine loaded with class. In 2012, some of the sensuality typical of the Mazis has been replaced with power and density. I find the greater mid-palate pliancy in the 2012 hugely appealing.
